What should you tell us in your enquiry?

The more we know, the faster the quote. Tell us:

your dates, or the week you are considering;
how many guests, and the ages of any children, since not every tour accepts children under 12;
the tour you have in mind, or what you care about most: wine, hiking, gravel or food;
where you are staying in Florence or Siena, for the pickup;
any dietary needs.

FAQ

How quickly do you reply?

Within a few hours, every day of the year, between 08:00 and 21:00 Italian time. That covers availability and price for any tour on our site. Tailor-made trips take longer to build: the written day-by-day plan with a full quote usually arrives within 48 hours of your first message.

Can I contact you on WhatsApp?

Yes. Our WhatsApp number is the same as our phone, +39 347 080 9904, and it is handy if you are already in Italy or need a quick answer about a tour. For a tailor-made trip, email or the form on this page lets you send dates, guests and interests in one message.

How far ahead should I book a tour?

From April to October, book our Chianti Classico wine tour at least two weeks ahead, and tours starting from Siena two to three weeks ahead. Easter, Palio days and harvest weekends need more notice than that. Outside those months, write with your dates and we will tell you what is still available.

Are you a licensed tour operator?

Yes. Out of the Box Florence is a licensed travel agency founded in Florence in 2020, VAT number 06155900480, with SCIA no. 9701/2020/SUAP registered with the Comune di Firenze. Our private driver services run with NCC-licensed drivers and commercial passenger insurance.
