Florence is surrounded by mountains and it’s located at the feet of some big mountains roughly 1.000 mt peaks (3.000 ft more or less).
From Florence don’t expect easy roads but you will find fun.
Gravel ride around Florence
The first idea is this one for a nice 60km stroll around the south hills of Florence and soe scenic sections.
A trail that we tried last january during a gravel festival: https://www.bbpgravelfirenze.it
Totally recommended if you are an easy going rider and you like drinking beers at the end of the ride with some chilled people. Great Occasion to meet people as well.
