Day 1 – Warm-Up Ride
86 km | 1600 m | Olbia – Bitti
The first day of the Ajò Gravel Sardinia Loop 2025 begins with a warm-up ride. Short gravel sections help riders adapt to the terrain. The loop includes farmland roads and a great tought climb. After the ride, a local dinner introduces the group to Sardinian hospitality.
Day 2 – Into the Hills
72 km | 2,260 m | Bitti – Orgosolo
Riding deeper inland, Day 2 presents steady gravel climbs. Because the route uses secondary roads, the environment feels peaceful. Villages along the way offer small cafés and cultural stops. The day ends in Orgosolo, reinforcing the sustainable spirit of the Ajò Gravel Sardinia tour.
Day 3 – Technical Gravel and High Views
94 km | 2,200 m | Orgosolo – Laconi
Day 3 is the most challenging stage of the Ajò Gravel Sardinia Loop 2025. It features rough gravel, granite outcrops, and a ridge climb. The views across Sardinia’s interior reward the effort. Short hike-a-bike sections may appear, yet the scenery makes the challenge worthwhile. Laconi is a great place to have a beautiful dinner.
Day 4 – Return Toward the Sea
68 km | 1000 m | Laconi – Oristano
On Day 4, the route heads toward the coast. Pine forests, rolling gravel, and quiet paved roads shape the stage. A great ride throu the Giara protected area and the iconic Monte Arci. The constant variety keeps the Ajò Gravel Sardinia adventure engaging and balanced. Oristano is perfect place for some night life after days in the mountains
Day 5 – The most scenic ride of them all
94 km | 970 m | Oristano – Tresnuraghes
The most scenic gravel bike ride of the Ajò Gravel Sardinia Loop 2025. Cycling through the historic penisula of Sinis, along the coast is something to remeber forever. Always a good palce for a jump in the water. The last climb leads through Tresnuraghes passing by secondary roads that will show a great views on the Sea and the Mountains. Tresnuraghes is a tiny little place, good for a quiet rest and a pizza
Day 6 – Along the Coast
67 km | 1,190 m | Tresnuraghes – Alghero
Here you can choose 2 options, or taking the Bosa- Alghero. It’s a main road but only few cars are passing. Or follow the route as we plan passing by the mountains and having a great view of the Ocean from the mountains. Here you can see the great Griffons. Arriving in Alghero is very pleasant and you can jump in the Sea for a refreshing bath.
Day 7 – Towards the End
59 km | 920m | Alghero – Sassari
An easy ride full of History passing by some Nuraghes and some ancient funeral sites.
Easy gravel roads and a great place to spend the night in Sassari, full of life and great places to have dinner.
Day 8 – The Final stretch
125 km | 1,230 m | Sassari – Olbia
This is at the Ajò Gravel Sardinia journey, the best and the most enjoyable day for gravel lovers.

Cycling through beautiful gravel crunchy roads, sorrounded by almonds fields and olive trees. A true pleasure for gravel bike lovers.
